Infonyte licenses XQuery technology from Fraunhofer:
Infonyte has licensed one of the world leading XQuery processors developed by the researches at Fraunhofer IPSI. The IPSI XQuery engine (
IPSI-XQ) is a prototype of an XQuery engine. It is implemented "by the book", that means it is implemented as faithfully as possible along the current W3C working drafts. IPSI-XQ is implemented completely in Java and will serve as a base for Infonyte's own XQuery implementation. It will be integrated in future versions of Infonyte's XML-product line Infonyte-DB.
